Friday, April 16, 2004 Port Agency ShipCargo offers port agency and cargo operation in all Danish ports, although the ports served by staff from our Aalborg office are Aalborg, Noerresundby, Hals, Aggersund, Loegstoer and Noerresundby. In addition to our port service, we arrange off-shore ship-to-ship cargo transfer together with full range of various services not to mention our usual agency work. The port of Aalborg is only a few hours passage from Skaw and can be approached by larger vessels through Hals Bar, while smaller vessel can approach the port of Aalborg from the North Sea via the entrance atThyboroen. From the North Sea. Following restrictions/guidelines apply when approaching from the North Sea via Thyboroen: Max draft abt 3,8 metres at normal water level. (please contact us for update) Only daylight navigation between Loegstoer and Aalborg. Passage of Oddesund Brigde, Aggersund Bridge, Railway Bridge and the Limfjord Bridge in Aalborg. Pilotage is compulsory for vessel's passing with a draft of more than 3,10 mtrs and for all tanker vessels. Further pilotage is compulsory for some ships when passing bridges. Passage time Thyboroen to Aalborg is abt 8 hours. Contact us for passagecosts, bridge openings and other relevant updated information. From Kattegat/Baltic. Following restrictions/guidelines apply when approaching Aalborg and the Limfjord from Kattegat. (from east) Max draft abt 9,3 metres (Brackish water) - at normal water level. Max abt 250 mtr length over all. Max abt 40 meters beam. (Slightly bigger vessel might be accepted,please contact us) Max 49 meter airdraft. (passing Nordjyllandsvaerket) Passage time from Hals Bar to Aalborg is abt two hours. Pilotage is compulsory for all vessel's with a draft of more than 6,0 metres and all tankers in excess of 1500 dwat, although pilotage is compulsory for all gas and chemical tankers.
