Lundqvist Rederierna is today mainly involved in the tanker trade. Managing Director is Mr Ben Lundqvist. By complying with Lundqvist Rederierna?s 'Safety Management System' were the 'Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Policy' plays an important role, the company assures that its operation always is of high standard. The company tanker fleet is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly in the world employed in carrying mainly crude oils worldwide. The fleet consists of eight top modern aframax ships of a total 801 652 dwt, which are operated highly professional and meet the required demands for safety and flexibility. The fleet of eight aframax tankers is owned by tree different companies situated in the Bahamas and managed by Lundqvist Rederierna. Based on complaints, non-conformities, incidents and internal audits the system is reviewed on a yearly basis during the management review to verify its continuing effectiveness. Alcohol and drug policy Lundqvist Rederiernas alcohol- and drug policy follows the requirements adopted by OCIMF Personnel policy The crew of the vessels are recruited by manning agencies although every crew member is screened in our own personnel department prior employment. They are all well trained , skilled and certified as per latest requirements in order to effect safe transportations but also to be able to respond to emergencies. The company sponsors many different courses, in excess of the compulsory ones, for the crew.
