Kaohsiung APM Terminals Kaohsiung is one of the largest terminal operators in Kaohsiung port. We have 2 container terminal establishments in Kaohsiung with total 4 berths and 1315 meters in length. We offer full range of Terminal Services from vessel stevedoring, Container Yard (CY) and Container Freight Station (CFS) as well as other value added services for any shipping lines who are interested in having a shorter vessel's port stay and an attractive terminal handling cost in Kaohsiung. Value Added Services: On-dock container repair. On-dock storage including reefer containers. Out of Gauge Container (OOG) handling. Hazardous Cargo handling. Advanced technology including customer EDI. Arriving an empty Empty container arrives at gate and truck driver reports to gate clerk. Security guard inspects container's condition and manually updates onto EIR. If it is a 'damaged' or 'awaiting cleaning' container then a placard will be attached to container. Gate clerk updates the EXPRESS system (GAT011Fc) and informs trucker to proceed to empty containers stacking area. Empty handler driver discharges container in sound or damaged area in accordance with container"s condition (attached with placard or not). Empty truckhead gates out from terminal. Picking up a load Empty truck arrives at gate. Truck driver presents "3 in 1 container delivery order" to gate clerk. Gate clerk checks "3 in 1 container delivery order " to see if container still within demurrage freetime. if it is positive, gate clerk updates the Express system, writes down grid number onto "3 in 1 container delivery order" and informs truck to the assigned grid lane. if it is negative, gate clerk requests truck driver to pay demurrage charge or other expense first then follow above procedure. Truck proceeds to grid area for picking up container. Truck proceeds to out-gate for container inspection/EXPRESS system update, and proceeds necessary customs/security police formalities. Truck proceeds to customs inspection station for final check by security guard (to check container number against 3 in 1 exit permit/EIR).
