M ller. Jette Clausen joined A.P. M ller as a shipping trainee and after graduation worked in the Tanker Department with operation of product and tanker vessels. After being stationed with tanker brokers in London in 1982 she returned to the Tanker Department in Copenhagen and was promoted to charterer and in 1987 to General Manager with responsibility for the commercial trading and operation of the segment for small product tankers. In 1992 Jette Clausen joined the PR Department (now Corporate Communications) and assumed responsibility for the department on 1 May 1993, when she was appointed Head of PR Department. In 1999 she was appointed Vice President. Today Jette Clausen is responsible for A.P. Moller - Maersk s internal and external communication, including corporate identity and corporate communication. Moller - Maersk has ordered four high-efficiency jack-up drilling rigs from KeppelFELS in Singapore. The first rig will be delivered in the second half of 2007 and the others will follow in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The design of the new rigs includes the efficiency features recently introduced on the ultra-harsh environment rigs M RSK INNOVATOR and M RSK INSPIRER, which are the largest and most advanced jack-up rigs in the world. As a result the drilling performance will be increased by 20% compared to that of conventional jack-up rigs. The highly efficient drilling equipment will make the rig well qualified for drilling deep and difficult wells, including high temperature / high pressure wells. The innovative features include the positioning of the accommodation blocks around the forward leg which more than doubles the available deck space and increases the load capacity considerably. The rigs will also be equipped with the so-called XY cantilever which dramatically increases the number of wells which can be drilled from one location. Furthermore, the rigs will be prepared for zero discharge operation and drill cuttings re-injection. A total of 120 people can be accommodated on board. The rigs are designed to work at water depths up to 350 ft (107 m) in areas such as Asia Pacific, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Latin America and West Africa. In the harsh environment of the central and southern parts of the North Sea, the rigs will be able to operate at 300 ft (91.5 m). "With their increased efficiency, high capacities and extensive mechanisation the new rigs will represent a significant improvement from conventional drilling rigs. We have also put great emphasis on further improving the safety and the working environment on the new rigs," said Claus Hemmingsen, CEO of Maersk Contractors. M ller. S ren Laungaard joined A.P. M ller in 1990 as a Finance Trainee and was after graduation posted in the Line Department (now Maersk Sealand). In 1996 S ren Laungaard joined Shipowner Ib Kruse s secretariat and later Shipowner Knud E. Stubkj r s secretariat, where he was promoted to General Manager. From 1999 he worked with the purchase of Sea-Land in the Line Department (now Maersk Sealand) until 2000 when he was stationed with Maersk Sealand in Antwerp, Belgium, as Line Manager. After this he was transferred to London with responsibility for Europe Corporate Affairs before returning to Maersk Sealand in Copenhagen in 2002. Here he was promoted to Director, responsible for operations control and strategic planning of ports and land based activities. In 2003 he was appointed Senior Director. S ren Laungaard has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting and Business Finance and has participated in management courses, including one at IMD.
