Introduction of Svendborg Bugser A/S Svendborg Bugser A/S is an independant tugowner-company, presently operating the fleet of 11 tugs and 4 pontoons, described in fleetlist-section, with more than 24 years of experience - not only with towages, but also with barge-transportation, salvage, cablelaying, heavy-lifts (shipsections, superstructures, constructions ect.), supply-services and crewing. Our speciallities are long range towage and all kind of services to the dredging- and water-construction industri, which we have performed throughout our history. Our natural work-area is the Baltic and the Northsea, but we are also active in other areas, as we have been towing a large number of newbuilt hulls from Rumania to Northern Europe since the midt 90-ties. Furthermore, we have since early summer 2001 performed 4 Transatlantic towages to the full satisfaction of our clients. All our masters, officers and the vast majority of crewmembers are of Danish nationallity with large experience in towing. It is our policy to maintain the highest possible standards amongst our personel at sea as well as in our office in Svendborg, Denmark. Our fleet of tugs and barges is constantly being modernized and it is our policy to decrease the average age of our units. It is our objective to render a fully professional service at all stages and for all tasks. We set the requests of our customers in the center of our efforts. Furthermore, we have committed ourselves to the highest possible standards by using internationally recognised contracts and by our membership of BIMCO. With the experience mentioned, we have a large number of good contacts with other companies, enabeling us to offer you transports and services, which might not fit our own equipment.
