REDERIET OTTO DANIELSEN - today Mr. Otto Danielsen founded the company in 1944, and Rederiet Otto Danielsen is now a small to medium sized shipping organisation managed by the third family generation, Ms. Ulla Danielsen. The office, employing 13 members of staff, is situated 15 kilometres north of Copenhagen, the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark. Shipping Department Jorn Staureby, Fleet Manager is supported by the Chartering Manager, Peder Schalck and they are both assisted by Operating Manager - Dennis Jorgensen. This department handles commercial and operational matters, including bunkers for the O.D. Fleet. Technical Department The Technical Manager, Poul V. Andersen is assisted by Superintendent Steen Ravnborg together with Jane Norrelund Larsen and Morten Larsen, who also take care of the purchase of spare parts, stores and crew matters for the Danish ships in our management. They are in daily contact with the contracted Crew Managers. The department's responsibility also includes maintenance, dry docking, crewing and emergencies. Administration Department The bookkeeping, which covers all accounting, and wages for the Danish officers etc., is managed by Kaj Hinrichsen and Helle Lorenzen. It is important to us that our vessels are always well maintained and are always of good external appearance.
