Over more than 180 days, 5 vessels within the CEC fleet has been transporting in excess of 60.000 tonnes of pipe - or 3000 joints - from ashore North France to dedicated pipelay barges situated off the North African coastline - on time - with care. February CEC is awared the contract for approximately 60.000 cubic meters of lumber by Uruguayan shippers. Over 2005, the CEC fleet will be transporting the lumber products from Uruguay to the United States East Coast. January APC adds another Chinese organization by establishing APC Shanghai. May CEC acquire the technical managing company TC Management which is renamed to CEC Shipmanagement, CEC Shipmanagement now undertakes technical management of more than 40 modern drycargo vessels. April CPC is being awarded another pipehaul project. The Bonga project consisting of approximately 28.000 metric tonnes or 7.000 joints are transported on 2 Dawn class vessels from on shore Nigeria to the pipelaybarge off shore Nigeria. March CEC takes delivery of the first spreaderbeam optimizing the lifting capacity and capability of the Confidence class vessels. July The Danish based owning company - Habro Finans A/S - appoints CEC as commercial managers for their 4 Multipurpose Boxshaped Twendeck vessels of 5.400 Dwat geared 100 metric tonnes.
