North West Bay Ships (NWBS) is an integrated designer and builder of a diverse range of high quality aluminium ships, including Catamaran Ferries, Trimaran Fast Ferries and Motor Yachts. The company has a reputation for producing efficient vesselsfrom concept to completion on time and on budget NWBS main shipbuilding hall allows for the simultaneous construction of two multi hull vessels to 70 meters LOA, with 20 meters of clear space under overhead gantry cranes. The company builds catamarans ferries in a range of sizes and has developed a highly efficient and stable trimaran hull form vessels in both fast ferry and motor expedition yacht configurations. Modern purpose built shipbuilding facilities and an experienced yet responsive in house design team ensure we produce cost competitive new vessels which satisfy the most rigorous day to day operational needs. We are committed to providing a vessel which best suits an owners requirements and will work to your preferred design, ours or yours. We design and build a diverse range of aluminium vessels for work and pleasure. Currently in NWBS shipbuilding hall are a mix of vessels which highlight NWBS design and build capabilities, and our flexibility to also build high quality vessels to an owners preferred design. Two 23M high speed catamaran passenger ferries are being constructed to a technicraft design for delivery to the Bermuda Marine & Ports Services Department in mid 2004. A 34 metre sightseeing/cruise catamaran has been designed by NWBS for Blue Line Cruises to compliment their existing fleet of vessels operating on Sydney Harbour. Occupying a large section of the shipbuilding hall is a 60 metre Trimaran megayacht To a NWBS design, this vessel is in an advanced stage of hull construction now entering the interior fitout stage.
