CANADA Info: Winter schedule between Canada -USA and Greenland The summer 2003 turned out to be a huge success for our new direct connection between Canada / USA and Greenland. The quantities surpassed our expectations for the first season quite considerable. We are pleased that the communities in Greenland have confirmed our supposition of the necessity of an increase in direct calls, compared to the previous years. It has turned out, that this was what it took, for our customers to seriously consider the possibilities that are present with our neighbours in the West. It is therefore with great pleasure we can inform you, that we are going to keep the same price level on our winter schedule as we have had on the summer schedule. The winter schedule, as you might know already, implies a transhipment in Reykjavik with the consequence of additional cost. We have however, after a through evaluation, decided it would promote the connection better, if we kept the same price level no matter which time of the year cargo is being shipped. We have enclosed our winter schedule running from December 2003 to April 2004. We expect our summer schedule for 2004 to start late April. Should you require further information with regards to schedule and or rates, please do not hesitate to contact our sales department in, Nuuk: Phone no. 299 349112 or 299 349113. e-mail: haj@ral.gl, rfi@ral.gl Best regards Royal Arctic Line A/S Hans Jensen The activities of Royal Arctic cover a number of subsidiaries and divisions.
