We are a privately owned group of companies linked with the maritime industry since 1974 as ship owners of bulk and general cargo vessels, and former port managers based in Guayaquil - Ecuador. Our initial operation covered all shipping activities, including port and shipping services, management of vessels, consulting for special heavy cargo projects, bunkering, and chartering; thereafter agency services were founded in 1983, adding a dynamic and personal approach to shipping port attention. After 10 years, in 1993 we took the next step in strengthening our business mix by developing new areas of services, expanding our shipping activities into stevedoring services, cargo consolidation & freight forwarding, port operator and custom bonded warehouses inside Port Authorities facilities. In 1998 our group was pioneer on the Ecuadorian Port Privatization process by winning the first private terminal concession at the Port of Guayaquil for the period of 20 years. Established in 1993 at Guayaquil Ecuador, Pacificlink S. A. acts as cargo agent, freight forwarder, and NVOCC providing a unique responsibility for the diverse transportation and logistic needs of its customers. We are positioned to handle air and ocean shipments, and meet custom regulations, documentation, transportation services, local or cross-frontier road operations, warehousing and distribution. Ocean Services With offices in Guayaquil, Quito, and Esmeraldas we specialize in the ocean transport of general, heavy pieces and project cargo, consolidated loads, Full container loads (FCL) and Less container loads (LCL), including door to door services, form / to port terminal, reception and delivery. Air Services As IATA member we arrange with the leading commercial airlines cargo space reservations, providing to our customers flight flexibility and complete schedule of delivery options to meet time and prices sensitive demands. Warehouse & Distribution Controlling our own facilities at the Port of Guayaquil we provide a secure handling of customer s cargo, eliminating robberies and arranging direct distribution for inbound cargo as well as export cargo destined/originated anywhere in Ecuador. Information System Our computer network enables to control and keep informed our clients about all aspects of execution and coordination of their shipments at origin / destiny, document preparation, fast bookings and scheduling.
