With a commitment to high standards the newly-formed company rapidly expanded and in the process diversified into other related businesses. Nowadays the company is not only a major shipping agency, with the added prestige of being the Lloyds Agents for Saudi Arabia, but also operates a very successful clearing and forwarding division. As a result AET ranks as one of the largest and most substantial shipping agency networks in Saudi Arabia with offices in all the country s major commercial and industrial ports. AET s management considers it an essential priority to identify closely with the commercial objectives of its principals and works hand in hand with individual ship owners and operators to achieve this aim. A major portion of AET s liner cargo portfolio is container-oriented and our internal organization has been specially designed to provide full back up and information service for all the clients we serve. The port of Jeddah has been in existence for more the 2000 years and its strategic location, midway through the Red Sea, has ensured prosperity since its foundation.
