Kanda Port Details Position Latitude 33 47' North Longitude 131 00' East Pilotage Not compulsory; Inland-sea pilots are available from Sekisaki, Hesaki or Mutsure if required. Harbour pilots are available at the anchorage. (33 48'03" N, 131 03'02" E) Possibilities of entry or sailing after sunset: No restrictions but pilots are only available from sunrise to one hour before sunset except Honko No.10 wharf (until 20:00 hours). Tidal Range/Channel Maximum (+) 2.80 metres Mnimum ( ) 0.37 metre Pratique Available at the Hesaki or Mutsure anchorages. (In case of vessels from east, formalities will be carried out at the Hesaki anchorage. If vessels from west, formalities will be carried out at the Mutsure quarantine anchorage. But after free pratique granted, vessels have to pass the Kanmon channel enroute to off Kanda). Radio pratique and sanitary inspection are both available Limitation 9.9 metres Shore Gears Minor Repair Facilities: All kinds of repairs can be undertaken. Grain Fitting: Available from Moji Floating Cranes: Available from Moji Hold Cleaning Facilities: Available from Moji Log Gangs: Available (Maximum 4 gangs). Cement Gangs: Available (Maximum 4 gangs). Water Supply Available from shore at Honko No. 10, No. 7 and Matsuyama Wharf. Bunkers All kinds of bunkers will be brought from Moji or Shimonoseki, when required. Immigration Formalities Formalities will be carried out at Moji Immigration Office.
