The Liners are handled by an exclusive group of professionals, highly trained and qualified. We provide all sort of assistance to the ships and it s crew members necessities whilst in the port. Issuance of Mate s Receipts, Bills of Lading, Letters of Correction, Freight Receipt and Remittances, Operational Reports, Statistics, Logistics in Costs & Equipment , Field Survey, Cargo Traces, Assistance on Cargo Claims, Full & Unrestricted representation before Brazilian Authorities, etc. The Tramps ( Bulk , Tweendeckers, Tankers , Chemicals, Multipurposes, Heavy Lift carriers and others) are also handled by professionals who are duly acquainted with Ship-Owners , Charterers and Shippers requirements. They are all qualified to interpret and follow up operations in strict accordance with all terms and conditions of the Charter parties applied. Besides, the full representation before the Port Authorities, We also provide and excellent assistance to the crew members and develop a precise and efficient daily communication with all our clients. Upon client s request we also can do a pre-loading survey to the cargo and stocks. We provide Notice of Readiness, Statement of Facts, Mate s Receipts, Manifests, Bills of Lading, Lay Time Calculation and On and Off Hire Certificates . The Passenger ships are not calling our port very often, Somehow, we have a multilingual staff duly prepared to handle those ships, by providing assistance to the crew members and especially to the passengers in all normal and un-foreseeable situations which may eventually be presented. Financial & Accounts Department, is composed by experts duly qualified on the Brazilian economy and it s sudden changes. Those give a full assistance to our clients with guideline on the economic aspect , quotations for all sort of operations on cargoes handling , pro-forma in strict accordance with ports tariffs in force, disbursement accounts, analytical financial reports on ships operations, audit and fiscal advice. GENERAL AGENTS We very often attend many foreign Ship-Owners, as general agents in the Brazilian major ports. We are capable to handle their ships through our own or associated offices in all major Brazilian ports. We always focus on achieving a very fast turnaround and minimise the operation costs. Our service has proved to be efficient and economically feasible for our clients. PORT OPERATOR We are certified Port operator ( Stevedoring) for all the ports we have our own offices. We handle operation of all sort of Bulk & Dry cargoes namely grain, grain by-products , general cargo and containers. We have a very qualified staff with years of experience . All our efforts have proved to be acceptable in respect of costs, care and efficiency. We normally plan our operations focusing efficiency and costs reduction . For general cargo and containers we do provide assistance and logistic in the transport, pre-loading survey, issuance of Mate s Receipt, accurate Tally Sheets, Statement of Facts, Loading and Discharging readable Reports, daily written information to the clients, stowage and bay plans and any other document which the client may require. We have our own insurance policy covered by a well bank, in strict accordance with OGMO s official requisite for all port operators. WAREHOUSING We have a very long tradition in this field, which is combined with our shipping activities. We handle Bulk and Dry cargoes. Our facilities are as follows: Horizontal Silo - capacity 20.000 metric tons. It has an excellent warehouse hopper equipped with a weight scale, to receive bulk cargo direct from trucks and wagons . it has a bucketed conveyor which transport the cargo from the hopper into the Silos , simultaneously with the trucks discharging operations. Horizontal warehouse located near to the port with 5.500 m2 covered area and 7.000 m2 of uncovered area . These warehouse are administrated by a competent staff and is well equipped to handle all sort of dry cargoes. Our staff are experts in cargoes conditioning for export , such as , palletising , unitising, containerising and others. We have 15 fork lifts with capacities varies between 2,5 to 7 tons. Horizontal warehouse located inside of the port s premise with 7.000 m2 which we normally use for dry cargoes storages. Depending upon the volume of cargoes we have engaged, we have the option to rent other warehouses available from companies, thus attending all our clients necessities. CONTAINERS We can provide, storage, handling, repairs, logistics and transport. We have huge areas outside and inside our warehouses yards, which we place at client s disposal . CARGO CONVASSING We do cargo convassing for several clients who operate on liner businesses. We have a separated department to offer our clients ships. We book either containerised or break bulk cargoes as per the allotments assigned to our ports. We have a vast communication link with the Brazilian Importers and Exporters, who are our partners in businesses for many years. CHARTERING Although we are not doing chartering as we did in the past, we continue eventually assisting our clients in all respect. LAW ASSISTANCE We maintain a group of Lawyers duly qualified in Shipping Businesses with excellent knowledge in either International and National laws and rules nowadays applied in the field.
