Founded in the city of Santos, in the year of 1945, as a customs broker. Deicmar developed over the years into several other activities, created its own bonded warehouses, overland transport, warehouses, foreign trade and logistics, providing complete logistics solutions to customers, improving processes and reducing costs. In 1975 the company became associated with the freight-forwarding division of the German group Franz Haniel, a 14 years partnership ending in 1989. In 1990 Deicmar associated with the centennial German company Kuehne & Nagel International, a global forwarding and logistics corporation, based in Switzerland, with over 600 offices spread throughout the world. To keep a forefront position, Deicmar invests endlessly and its staff of over 600 highly specialized employees receives non-stop training to improve its business processes. The integration between logistics and IT, in addition to investments in its most important asset-human capital-is Deicmar's permanent goal ,because the company's continued success depends on customer satisfaction. New business units, continuous improvement and expanding services will be part of Deicmar's future scenario. This unit provides receiving, warehousing, separation, loading, transportation, cross-docking, customer inventory management, labeling, packing, stuffing, palletizing and order processing. In an area of 124 thousand m2, of which 32 thousand are covered, this Distribution Center has 53 piers designed for the most varied customer needs, a flexible structure consisting of 24 thousand pallet positions, 25 thousand positions in shelves and flow-racks in addition to 7 thousand m2 assigned to the customized operations. With a team of highly trained specialists, it uses warehouse management system (WMS - SAP R/3), supported by radio frequency system and bar code reading under a strict security system. The Campinas Distribution Center has a privileged and strategic location, adjacent to Viracopos International Airport and the junction of the highway, which links the city of Sao Paulo with the rest of the state. A container freight station (CFS), 65 thousand m2 open area which includes 12 thousand m2 of bonded warehouse for general cargo and dangerous goods, the EADI operates as an entrepot, allowing the cargo owner to keep it segregated from other cargoes, nationalizing it on demand, and therefore, saving cash-flow on duties and taxes for the exact right moment when needed. To speed the process and make it efficient, EADI relies on a team of highly trained specialists, a WHS (SAP R/3), supported by radio frequency, bar code reading, handling equipment adjusted to specific operations and a strict security system. Located strategically in the secondary zone of the Port of Santos with direct access to the Anchieta - Imigrantes highway system, assuring safe and fast overland transportation. Within an area of 8.5 thousand m2, assigned to the warehousing of containers, oversize or overweight volumes and vehicles, the warehouses for loose cargo are located in an area of 1 thousand m2. To make operations faster and more efficient, the bonded environment facilitates the safeguarding, stripping of containers and warehousing of goods all the way through to the conclusion of the customs dispatch. The Bonded Port Facilities of Deicmar are located in the primary zone of the Port of Santos, with direct access to the Anchieta-Imigrantes highway system, next to the port, offering exceptional conditions for warehousing and shipping of import and export cargo. PAV offers receiving, loading, storage, PDI (pre-delivery inspection), and port handling services for importing, exporting or cabotage of vehicles. Storage capacity up to 5 thousand vehicles under a bonded regime. The paved area of 45 thousand m2 is located in the Port of Santos' primary area, in a strategic area of the Saboo docks. It has three ramps for loading and unloading, an office for the customs authorities and all the infrastructure required to speed the process according to the recommended international requirements. Its modern facilities allow the handling and customs inspection to be performed in loco, reducing the time needed for customs clearance and stay of vehicles in the patio. Its strategic location is ideal for port operations of imported vehicles, export and cabotage, providing an efficient link between ocean shipment and overland transportation, with direct access to the Anchieta-Imigrantes Highway System. This multipurpose port terminal has an area of 19 thousand m2, located next to berths 1 and 2 in the Port of Santos. Its capacity of warehousing is up to 2.000 vehicles. It has three ramps for loading and unloading, an office for customs authorities to speed the process according to the recommended international requirements. Its modern installations allow the customs services on site, reducing the time for customs clearance. Its strategic location is ideal for port operations of imported containers and vehicles, export and cabotage, providing an efficient link between ocean shipment and overland transportation, with direct access to the Anchieta-Imigrantes Highway System.
