Laem Chabang Port Details Laem Chabang is located in Chonburi Provice, approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Bangkok. The port itself covers an area of around 1,000 hectares. It is designed to provide services to large ocean-going container ships and bulk carriers, which can not enter Bangkok port. The port itself has the latest facilities appropriate to a operation of its size and importance. Large mobile cranes are already in place handling an enormous volume of containers every year.
