Rang Dong Terminal JVPS is Owner of Rang Dong (FPSO) EPSO "RANG DONG 1" a 150,000DWT coverted tanker is pentanently moored in 60 meters depth of water the Rang Dong field area. FPSO position Latitude 10-00-4.7 N and Longtitude 108-15-21.6 E Discharging Rate (Crude Oil) The FPSO is capable of discharging from the Rang Dong but the Loading rate depend on the export tankers' pump normally 3,000-3,500mt/hour and the FPSo can normally accomodate at port tankers ranging in size from 20,000 and 100,000 DWT and upto 150,000DWT by special arrangement. All export tankers are required to moor in tandem at the FPSO, with the export tanker bow fastened to the FPSO stern and must meet minimum safety standards as required by the International Marine Organization (IMO), the Oil Companies International Marine Form, the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, the relevant Classification Bofy and the S.F Vietnam. Export tankers are able to make contact with the FPSO 24 hrs a day but berthing will only take place during daylight hours wether permitting Pilotage is compulsory and Pilot and the Marine Superintendent will board the export tanker prior to berthing and will remain on board fot the finish of loading. The export tankers will be required to make ready a loading manifold on the port side capable of accepting a 16-inch ANSI 150lbs flange. Clearance Formality : Normally the Agent and Loading Master, Customs Formalities, Pilot Surveyors, Immigration, Shippers will come on board by Helicopter if wether permitting, if not the ship hv to call the Vungtau P/stn to pick them. The sea around the RANG DONG field has finshing grounds important to the sociaecnomics structure for the area. Therefore, extensive protection measures to prevent and environment pollution have been applied. A comprehensive Environment Impact Assessment study has been conducted for the field area and adjacent coastline, river mouths and offshore islands. The assessment report and its recommendations, which were submitted to and approved by Ministry of Science Technology and Environment of Vietnam, has shown that there has been no significant effect on the environment by JVP's operators. JVP's Safety and Environment Management System which encludes Safety Cases for the WHP and FPSO, will be continuously during the fields... to protect the health and safety of its employees, the local population and environment in general.
